PNA Celebrates their 92nd Foundation Anniversary: "Filipino Nurses Contributing to Global Health Care Outcomes"

The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) has become one of the largest nursing organizations in the country since its creation on September 2, 1922.

Celebrating their 92nd Foundation Anniversary and 57th Nurses Week, they are inviting all nurses to join, register and participate on the 2014 National Annual Convention “Filipino Nurses Contributing to Global Health Care Outcomes” on October 21-23, 2014 to be held at the Manila Hotel. The nurses who registered at the said convention will earn units that will be credited to their profession.

“Filipino Nurses Contributing to Global Health Care Outcomes” would like to promote the positive image of our Filipino nurses and how they contribute globally.

Nurses, as guardians of health of the Filipino people, must recognize their contribution and impact to global care outcomes.

Objectives of PNA’s 2014 National Annual Convention:

Contextualize the roles and prominence of the Philippine nursing profession (education, and research) in promoting global healthcare outcomes.
Reinforce performance benchmarks; quality standards; best practices and experiences which highlight the practice of nursing oriented towards global health care outcomes.
Enhance the nursing practice in the Philippines towards a globally competitive outcome.
