Google seems to be entering the budget phone business. There are rumors about Project Ara. Reports are telling us that a brand new Google nexus Smartphone will be coming with a price tag below $100 or PHP 4,000.
Since it’s rumored to be extremely cheap ($100 converts to round the Php4,000 mark), don’t expect that it'll be as powerful as the Nexus 5 once it comes to specs. Google, perhaps, wants everyone to feel what a nexus smartphone is. But then this is on an entry level smartphone.
Hopefully, we will be seeing better specs than what we ordinarily see in the entry level devices since the Nexus five came with better-than-usual specs for its terms. Hopefully, Google uses this same formula we’re accustomed seeing from its Nexus lineup. As of now, they say that this Nexus device will be using a MediaTek processor.
